Careers: Aiming High
A flexible 60 to 90 minute workshop bringing students into direct contact with business volunteers to inspire them to recognise their potential and give them practical first-hand guidance on different career paths.

Years 8-11
An interactive 60 to 90 minute virtual or face-to-face workshop where volunteers from a business background talk with your students about aiming high, setting achievable goals and celebrating success.
They will come away with a better understanding of how to set short, medium and long-term goals, how to remain resilient in the face of challenges and the importance of recognising their potential.
The workshop includes an opportunity for students to question the volunteer and hear about their career pathway, including its ups and downs and the lessons they have learned.
Aiming High is a highly adaptable workshop that can be tailored to suit different year groups and many learning abilities. SATRO staff will introduce and run the workshop and bring student materials.
