SATRO STEMFest

Register Now: an opportunity to meet employees from the world of STEM employment and to learn more about pathways, job roles, skills and to try some hands-on activities.
Schools can bring groups of up to 12 students for a full day experience which will be timetabled to ensure that every student benefits from their time with employees.
Years 8-9
SATRO STEMFest - Date for 2025 TBA
SATROfest will be a full day event for up to twelve Year 8/9 students with a focus on the pathway and career opportunities in STEM. The day will include opportunities to meet employers, try some hands-on activities, attend workshops and hear from employees at different stages of their careers. The cost of this is £90 per team.
Schools will have the opportunity to take part in 3 activities during the day:
1. Students work together to solve a humanitarian engineering problem whilst finding out about how different STEM careers and their related skills can support the success or failure of a project.
2. Opportunity to visit company stands and take part in activities and discuss potential next steps in STEM - helping you meet Gatsby Benchmarks
3. Participation in STEM workshops with industry involvement.
Each school will have a SATROfest Careers Booklet to providing details of the companies that attended.
