It is SATRO's aim to enthuse students from ages 8-18 to engage in STEM subjects and to develop their knowledge of employability skills, to inform career pathways for the future.

SATRO achieves this by providing workshops, cross-school challenges, science festivals and conferences, to encourage students to learn about the wider world of STEM. SATRO links all of their events to both the curriculum and GATSBY benchmarks.
SATRO also provides a Mobile Construction Classroom to teach a full one or two year programme to achieve a BTEC qualification. Particularly of interest to those looking at a career in construction, plumbing, joinery etc and those schools looking to engage students in practical work.

SATRO supports every student as an individual and recognises the need for individual support in their education pathway, so offer Student Mentoring with volunteers from local companies and organisations.
